Sweet Celia--
Well, your appointment has come and gone at the University of Michigan without much in the way of hoopla. Basically, nothing new came out of the time your Momma and Daddy and Uncle Brad spent with the doctors, except another scheduled EEG which your Momma is not looking forward to (your first one was a bit difficult, with all those sensors on your head bugging you to death!)
Sometimes God works on a schedule that isn't ours, Celia. That's what I am going to take from this appointment, instead of worry or disgust or anger. I am going to trust that God knows exactly what He is doing and that we are all just being impatient not waiting for HIS time, when all the piece of this puzzle will fall into place.
I know this is a hard wait, especially for your parents. But, I also trust that, when we all look back at this time many years from now, that we will all see that it was just a waiting game. A trial of patience. A little chunk of time out of the many years of your life that we all learned to love you a little bit more, pray for you consistently, and lift you up to God through tears.
This is a blessing, Celia. As hard as it is for those of us who love you, it is a blessing. And I, for one, am looking so forward to finding out how God is going to use this to bless your life.
