Well, Miss Celia, it seems the good doctors have come to a conclusion that you have a rather unusual pattern of symptoms that they think they have put their fingers on (but they aren't totally positive). I have to give you points for confounding them!
The official diagnosis is Infantile Gratification Disorder. Your Mom and Dad are telling everyone that you have a "movement disorder" because it is just so much neater than the mysteries of the real diagnosis. No one really knows why this begins, when it will occur, or when you will outgrow it (if you will). And, honestly, people prefer absolutes to open-ended diagnoses, so calling it a movement disorder, no matter how broad that is, somehow seems to be easier on everyone involved.
I am praying that your episodes will not affect you long-term, that you will adjust normally to all things sexual. I am praying for good teachers in your future, who will be able to witness what you go through and not pass judgement. I am praying for friends who laugh with you and not at you when you start making "strange" movements in front of them.
There is so much in life that is a mystery, sweet Celia. Your episodes are one of those things. We don't know why this happens, but we do know that God loves you through every single movement of your days, voluntary or involuntary. And that is a sweet, sweet assurance.
I hope you find rest from this someday soon. But, until then, I know that God is watching over you like a hawk. And I know your Mom and Dad are making sure they are doing the best they can to get you the care you need.
Your job is to just be who God made you to be. And to remember that we all love you JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!
